Frequently Asked Questions
Q:What does the Undergrad GeoClub do?
A:We go on field trips, we have professors give talks, and organize
Geoscience related events. And we have fun.
Q:How can I join?
A:Simple. Come to the meeting. Meeting times are posted throughout the Geoscience department. You do not have to sign up, you do
not have any obligations, you do not have to be a Geology and Geophysics major,
and you do not have to pay club fees.
Q: Why join?
A: If you're a Geology and Geophysics major or thinking of becoming one, there
is no better place to get all the information you need about
the department. We've taken most of those courses you're thinking
about taking next semester. And besides, it's fun. Not to mention
the FREE FOOD!! usually served at our
meetings.
Q:Does the Undergrad GeoClub have insider information about courses (midterms, finals,
papers, etc.)?
A:No. But some of us probably can give good advice, and many of
our members do study together for upcoming tests, etc.
