Research interests:
Welcome to my web-site! My areas of specialization are Environmental
Microbiology and Geomicrobiology. I am working with Prof. Eric Roden in
his Week’s biogeochemistry lab and we are studying microbial-geological
media interactions in present and past, here on Earth and on other planets.
My personal preferences are isolations of new groups of environmentally
relevant microorganisms and studying iron cycling in phyllosilicates. I like
to share my experience and deep interest in Geomicrobiology with Week’s
students and researchers. Here you can find more detailed descriptions of
my research interests, CV and a list of publications.
