Klaus W. Westphal

Klaus W. Westphal, a native of Berlin, earned a PhD in paleontology from the Eberhard-Karls University at Tubingen, Germany in 1969. He was director of the UW-Madison's Geology Museum until 2004, where he supervised the museum's exhibits and outreach programs and taught a course in introductory paleontology, "The Life of the Past." In recent years, he has organized several successful dinosaur expeditions.
