Transient Climate Evolution of the last 21,000 years (TraCE-21): Understanding Deglacial Climate Changes using CCSM The main objective of this recently funded project is to investigate the transient response of the climate system to known deglacial forcings. Specific questions to investigate include: -Relative effects of insolation, greenhouse gases on deglacial climate -How did the different hemispheres behave through the deglacial period -The presence of hysteresis in ocean circulation -The role of the tropics in deglacial climate change |
