SURGING

                             (To "Truckin'")

                    Surging

                    Im a flowin down,

                    Whoa-oh baby,

     REFRAIN        Down to Johnstown,

Johnstown, just to rest my stones,

                    And then retreat back-on-home.

What in the world ever became of the Green Bay?

It lost it's firn you know, it isn't the same.

               Depositin' till, braided-streams and mo-raines,

Wasting away you know its really a shame.

     REFRAIN

Sometimes the ice moves deforming debris,

Other times the bed behaves rigidly,

               Esker moving slur-ury,

and winds down the glacier bed.

     REFRAIN

Two Rivers, Haven, Ozaukee and T-C-F-B,

They're all startin' to look the same to me,

Sent to get gas, Dave's van waiting impatiently,

Bruce's van sent ahead thru Larabee.

     REFRAIN

Sunday morning diggin in the Two Creeks,

Negligent T.A. keys locked in the van,

Coat hanger saved us.  IN-THE-VAN and were rollin',

Down to Valders, out to look at till.
