I love being a grad student at UW, working with Anders Carlson. I did my undergrad at the University of North Carolina - Asheville in atmospheric sciences. Now I study paleoclimatology and paleoceanography of the last 21,000 years. I do some modeling of ice sheet mass balance in response to warming climates in addition to looking at SST changes & runoff rates during the last deglaciation. I enjoy studying the interactions between science & policy as well. If I'm not spending my days and nights in the lab, I love riding my bike and running all over Madison, going to the Farmer's Market and making a tasty meal of my wares, and doing some good old fashioned hanging out.
