I recently finished my MS in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science here at UW-Madison, studying the physical trends in the North Atlantic carbon sink.  Now I have decided to continue my graduate education working with Anders Carlson, researching Holocene ice sheet retreat using cosmogenic exposure dating.  I am interested in studying what previous warming periods can tell us about current ice melt and sea level rise.  While not scourging the Earth’s surface for missing beryllium, I enjoy frisbees, bike tires, tree trunks, and anything else round.  I am also a founding member of the local bicycling advocacy group, MadFBC.
