WELCOME to MADISON WISCONSIN

WI State Capitol

Here are several QTVR views of what Madison Wisconsin looks like from the top of the Wisconsin State Capitol. Because it is not possible to actually set up a tripod on Miss Wisconsin's head, I photographed the city from the 3 balconies surrounding the Capitol dome. The balcony on the 4th level (labeled '4') is roughly 90 feet above the floor of the Capitol and is open to the public. The balconies on the 9th level (150 feet above the ground) and at the base of the lantern (235 feet high) just below the statue are closed. Click on one of the buttons below to see what the city looks like from that elevation.
