The XVI ECROFI will be held at the Municipal Auditorium within the Almeida Garrett Library. This facility is situated in the Palacio de Cristal Gardens.
The organization of the meeting is handled by GIMEF - Fluids and Metallogeny Research Group which is a component of the Department of Geology of the Faculty of Sciences of Porto University and "Centro de Geologia da Universidade do Porto".

The chairman of the organisation is Professor Fernando Noronha.
