Pinnacle Node 3

This node occupies the high point in the east-central part of the loop overlooking most of the Pinnacles. This is the most popular overlook site and all the buses that visit park in the same area as my car just northand west of the overlook. The hill to the north is protected by its cover of mulga bushes and careful examination can find outcrops among the bushes of cross-beded sandstones. Over the top of the hill just below the horizon can be seen the 'White Desert' - an area of newer dunes that haven't been stained the yellow-brown color so prevalent in the Pinnacles.

Look around from this vantage point. Note the irregular distribution of the pinnacles (or at least the exhumed ones).
