Age: Late Cretaceous.
(65 million years ago)
Locality: Hell Creek Formation, Badlands, South Dakota.

Notes: Edmontosaurus was a plant-eating dinosaur that lived at the same time as Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus rex. This skeleton is a composite of many individuals. Because of this, it is 70% real bone. It is 33 feet long.

The bottom image is a close-up of the left front leg.

An interesting note on the mounting: there are no ugly steel supports detracting from the view since much of the weight is supported by cables. Compare this mount to that of the mastodon.
