Creating a grid of points for automated Quantiview analysis

Here is a program written by UW-Madison engineering/material science grad student (now postdoc) Fanyou Xie a couple of years ago, to set up a grid of points for analysis by Quantiview. It is in the "xyzpos.dat" file format, and in fact outputs a file by that name. It runs on a PC.

It automatically sets up autofocus at each point. It queries for: analytical label, comment (must be less than 24 characters I believe, Cameca's rule), coordinates of one corner (i.e. upper left corner), coordinates of opposite corner (i.e. lower right corner), number of lines (rows), and number of points per line (columns).

Then just ftp this file into your sun probe directory. I've never used it myself, but others use it all the time, so I assume it is flawless.
