Anomalous Back Scattered Contrast

We have observed a reversal of bse contrast in a phase in the Mo-B-Si system: MoB. At 25 kV, the phase is dark (low bse coefficient) whereas at 5 kV the phase is bright (high bse coefficient). To learn more and see two images, Back to UW Microprobe Home Page
