Geology 202 with Eric

I'll add useful information to this page as the semester progresses. Most of the information on this page is specific to the section I am TAing. For general information about the class, you can look at the website for the entire course.

Check out this website, where Steve Reynolds (Arizona State University) has collected his huge assortment of web-based images and movies specifically designed to help with 3D visualization of geology. In particular, I suggest exploring these parts of the web site:
  • Intersection of layers with topography
  • 3D versions of maps

Class meetings: MWF from 12:05 to 12:55 in room 140, Weeks Hall.

Lab meetings: M from 2:25 to 5:25 in room 270, Weeks Hall.

Eric's office hours: Thursday from noon - 1 pm and Friday from 11 am - noon in room 281, Weeks Hall. You can also email me to arrange another time to talk. Please note that I will not be free to meet with you on Monday after class. I'll be getting ready for lab.

Eric's office: Room 281, Weeks Hall. I also spend a fair amount of time in room 174, the Structure Lab.

Grading policy: Each week's lab is due at the beginning of the next lab period. Late labs will not be accepted without my prior approval. By prior approval, I mean that you need to email me the day before lab. Seriously - I'm not kidding.
