I am interested in processes of rock deformation. My specific geoscience research interests center on structural geology and tectonics but I am very interested in relationships between other geoscience sub-fields (especially geophysics and igneous and metamorphic petrology) and rock deformation.
In addition to my geoscience research, I pursue education research on both three-dimensional spatial visualization and on the effectiveness of field trips in promoting learning.
