Format: Two 50-minute lectures per week.  Attendance is recommended.

Grading:   Two short exams will be given. One, worth 40 points, will be given near the middle of the 8-week class period. The other, worth 50 points, will be given at the end. Exams will be multiple choice and true-false. If you must miss an exam, you must contact me before the exam to make alternative arrangements. Your final grade will be assigned as follows: Your scores for Exams 1 and 2 are added. The summed score is then converted to a percentage score from 0-100%. Letter grades are then assigned based on a curve of the class scores.
