Research

Current research interests include groundwater-lake studies and heat as a groundwater tracer. Our groundwater-lake studies are conducted at NSF's Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) site in northern Wisconsin. We are currently working with a regional groundwater flow model of the LTER site to trace flow lines and evolution of groundwater chemistry. We are also studying hydrologic processes in wetlands and the use of temperature data to supplement head measurements in model calibration.

Teaching

I teach a variety of courses including Hydrogeology, Groundwater Flow Modeling, and Transport Modeling.
Geology 724. Introduction to Groundwater Flow Modeling
Geology 727. Advanced Hydrogeology
