Director, Geology Museum
The Department of Geology and Geophysics, University of Wisconsin-Madison, is inviting
applications for the position of Museum Director. Responsibilities include overseeing the
museum’s collections and operations, supervising and participating in various outreach
functions, and leading the museum’s fundraising activities. Responsibilities also include
teaching one course each semester.
A Ph.D. in the natural sciences, two years of museum experience and one year of teaching
experience are required. Minimum salary: $40,000. Position available date: January 1, 2004.
