GEOCLUB ACTIVITIES The annual Geoclub sponsored Holiday Party is
coming soon! The event this year is going to be a little different. First
of all, it is a potluck dinner/buffet. Be creative and bring your
best holiday dish, be it a tasty appetizer, scrumptious side, or
delectable dessert! In return for your culinary prowess, the Geoclub will
provide all beverages. Secondly, it is to be held on campus.
You will be able to enjoy the sights of Lake Mendota from Rm. 8417 of the
Social Sciences building up on Observatory Drive. Finally, the
Geoclub will be sponsoring a coat drive ----- collecting your
gently used coats, jackets, gloves and winter hats. Please bring them in
and drop them off at Jennifer Nielsen's office (474), or bring them to
the Holiday Party on December 9th. A sign-up sheet will be put in
the front office with Karen so if you plan on attending please sign-up to
insure there will be enough beverages for all.
