Introduction
The Geology and Geophysics Library has more than 85,000 items on all aspects of geoscience. The library is an official depository for all U.S. Geological Survey publications and also collects documents/series published by state and foreign geological surveys.
Click on the menu to the left to access electronic journals and databases of interest to earth scientists. Often, these resources are licensed for use by UW-Madison faculty, students, and staff, or for on-campus use.
Also, using the menu to the left, click on New Acquisitions to see lists of materials which have recently arrived in the Geology Library.

Databases
GeoRef: is the principal database for geological titles (English language). It includes serials, conference papers and abstracts, guidebooks, maps, reports, theses and some monographs.
