Also, uou will recall that Prof. Chuck DeMets was delayed in returning to Madison early in the semester due to the large earthquake in Mexico that occurred while he was working down there. In this weeks Wisconsin Week, there are two articles on this, one discussing Chuck's work, and the other discussing work by one of the department's staff members who has been involved in geophysical work for several decades.
