Professor Brad Singer (UW-Madison, Department of Geology and Geophysics) led a field trip to the Canary Islands of Tenerife and La Palma from May 19-June 1, 2007.

The group consisted of eight graduate students and one undergraduate from UW-Madison, plus former UW faculty member Richard Allen, now a professor at UC Berkeley.

We spent six days exploring the geology of Tenerife followed by five days on La Palma.
