Self-Guided Tour :
Browsing through the halls of the museum can be greatly enhanced when you bring along your very own copy of our Self-Guided Tour Booklet which you can download here. A copy is also available at the museum.

Guided Tours :
The Geology Museum is a popular tour destination on the University of Wisconsin Madison campus. From kindergarten classes through adult civic groups, our tours are tailored to deliver age-appropriate content to each group. Tours are approximately one hour long and feature hundreds of rock and mineral specimens, a black light mineral display and skeletons from dinosaurs and Ice Age animals. Admission to the museum is free, but for our guided tours we have a fee of $2 per person with a minimum of $15 per group.
